Ballincollig, County Cork
Ballincollig is a satellite town of Cork situated about 8km west of Cork, in the Province of Munster. It is located beside the River Lee on the R608 regional road. It's a good starting point to discover the south coast of Ireland.
When visiting Ballincolling there are many sights to see and things to do that will interest any tourists to the south of Ireland.
Ballincollig has several attractions of interest such as the Ballincollig Castle which dates from the fifteenth century and the regional park which is a large area of scenic leisurely walks. You can also admire the Ballincollig Royal Gunpowder Mills with its visitor centre and museum on the north side of the town.
